Four Walls

Our fourth wall is literally flying up! This morning there was nothing on the south side, and now there's this:

The black sheets are the forms into which concrete will be poured. They will be removed once the concrete is dry. As you can see over the edge of the black wall, all the cement footings are now in place for the foundation of the inner core of the building (last week we posted a picture of the trenches pre-pouring). In the far wall shown in the picture, you can see small rectangular indentations. These are where the beams for the second floor supports will be inserted.

To help the workers fit these forms into place, a large crane is required. It is swinging back and forth outside our office windows this Friday afternoon!
