Walls!

We have the (very) beginnings of new walls! First we poured footings:

The footings are the concrete section within the wooden sidewalls. These are what our new walls will sit on.

Today, the workers started putting up the forms for the walls:

These forms will serve as the mould for the concrete that will form the actual walls. Although the forms in the picture are straight, coming around the corner of our rounded building will require very specialized custom forms.
