Inside Level 1

We've had a cold snap this week - on no day has it gotten above freezing! So pouring concrete for our sidewalks was not a possibility this week. Our fingers are crossed for next week.

In the meantime, here are some photos of the work happening inside level 1. We are still on track to gain occupancy of this area on December 27, less than a month away! (Thanks to Paul Penner for these pictures.)

This is the new ensemble rehearsal room. It will be the new home to the gamelan and will also host our instrumental chamber ensemble group rehearsals. The specialized panels on the right wall create great acoustics.

This will be the new reception desk, just inside the new main entrance. They are working on putting in the desks and the cabinetry this week. We are excited to have a new space, functionally designed for our needs in the main office!

The new womens' washroom on level one is waiting for stall partitions and accessories such as mirrors and grab bars.

The Ronald and Barbara Schlegel Community Education room is getting outfitted with custom cupboards as well. This will be a little kitchenette area with a sink, microwave and fridge to make it easier for the kitchen to cater meetings and events in this room.
