Ice Storm

Waterloo was hit by an unseasonable ice storm Thursday and Friday this week. All the trees are beautifully coated, but they are also losing their branches, which leads to power outages galore! Thankfully Grebel is running as usual, but it has made things challenging for the crew, which dislike precipitation of any kind. You can see that they removed the tarping around the building. There are tiny little icicles hanging from the wooden railings, which you can't see in this picture. They are experiencing some minor leaks because of all the precipitation accumulating inside the unfinished building. You can also see that they've started with the block walls on the 4th floor.

As for those of us inside the existing building, our current dilemma is where to put three pianos (2 grand and 1 upright) while the rooms they are currently in are being renovated... Next week is packing week as we prepare to make some major shifts.
