While the rest of us were on Christmas break, the construction crew was hard at work. They had a lot of work to do in a short period, as you can see in this photo of them working in close quarters (I count nine workers!). On this day there were electricians, drywallers, block layers, steel
installers and ductwork installers all working at the same time to get things done. Ron Junker, the site supervisor, is the one with the bright orange tape measure who is directing traffic from the middle of the photo.
They are trying to get everything ready so that we can be moved back in by Monday morning, when classes start. Winter term always means hitting the ground running, whether you're a student, staff or faculty member. We appreciate that the crew worked so hard to accommodate our timeline, and we're definitely looking forward to being installed in our regular space!
