Precast Perils

It's been an interesting week here at Grebel, specifically in the office wing. One of the big projects going on this week was the removal of the precast concrete and brick from the face of the building, where the new addition will attach. This took a lot of effort on the part of the workers, who would end up covered in dust from head to toe after a few hours. The dust also found its way into our air system, which coated everything in the academic wing in a fine layer every morning. That combined with the noise meant a lot of office shuffling as we tried to find spaces where people could work effectively. The photo gives you a bit of an idea of the dust and fumes involved in this project!
