Lots of Action

There has been a lot of action on the construction site this week, and very noisy action at that! One of the big things that the crew worked on was reducing our former retaining wall (under the ramp up to the main entrance) into dust and rebar.

Yes, there used to be a wall where that pile of rubble is.

It has been very noisy in the main office, so much so as to make conversation impossible at times. However, we have gotten through it with the help of a lot of Lindt chocolate and good humour!

The next steps for the crew outside are to refill the area, build a new retaining wall and insert piers and footings in appropriate places. They will be changing the whole grade of that area to lead up to the new main entrance.
